FeedRite Performance Mix is an oat free feed designed to meet thenutritional requirements of athletic horses.

FeedRite Performance Mix is an oat free feed incorporating cooked (steamed or extruded) cereal grains and legumes to maximise digestibility and palatability. It also contains heat treated rice bran which is a rich source of vitamins, essential fatty acids (oils) and phosphorus.

FeedRite Performance Mix is the Feedrite mix of choice for performance horse that suffer from tying up syndrome.

Ingredients:

Barley, rice grain broken, rice bran, soy bean meal, magnesium oxide, dicalcium phosphate (DCP), limestone powder, salt, Feedrite horse premix (barley steamed and rolled, maize steamed and rolled, lupins steamed and rolled, limestone powder, black sunflower seeds, salt, molasses, canola oil).

Feeding Guide:

FeedRite Performance Mix should be fed to horses in full work at the rate of 3kg to 5kg per day in conjunction with ad lib roughage (approximately 5kg dry matter).

  • Introduce FeedRite Performance Mix gradually over a one to two-week period.
  • Adjust feed allowance according to body condition and workload.
  • Ensure your horse receives adequate amounts of roughage (an amount of dry roughage equivalents to at least 1% or more of the horse’s bodyweight should be fed daily).
  • Make sure your horse has access to fresh clean water.
  • Do not supplement your horse’s diet with extra trace minerals, such as selenium, unless instructed to do so by a veterinarian or equine nutritionist.
